Activity Director / Assistant Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm Elite Day Center of Georgetown is currently looking for an energetic, caring, and reliable Activity Director to care and assist the Members-a medical adult day care provider. The primary role of the Member Assistant is to provide hands-on care to all Members as needed throughout the day at the Center following each Member’s individual plan of care. Hands-on care includes but is not limited to toileting; including incontinence care if needed, ambulation assistance, assistance with meal set up/feeding, and maintenance of good hygiene while at the Center. Member Assistants should attempt to anticipate the needs of Members whenever possible rather than simply reacting to requests. Member Assistants shall take great measures to preserve Member dignity in all situations and uphold Member’s rights. Member Assistants shall strive to learn as much as possible about Members preferences and personal history in a professional manner that will promote personalized interaction and when appropriate, re-direction. Member Assistants will promote active engagement in activities throughout the day for Members, including leading activities as assigned; group and one on one.

• Provide hands on care to all Members/Clients in need at Elite Day Center
• Assist with lunch prep and snacks according to instructions.
• Provide companionship for the Members, lead & participate in activities of the Center interacting and engaging Members all throughout the day.
• Maintain a clean environment for the Members of the Center.
• Complete required documentation on members present at center daily
• Activity Calendar creation each month
• Experience working with older adults or the young adults with disabilities - preferred
• Experience working with Alz/Dementia, preferred.
