Medical Device Assembly Technician 1st Shift

Shift: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM3:30 PM

Pay: $20/hour

Type: Full-time, long-term opportunity

About the Role

Join a growing medical device manufacturing team where your work directly impacts patient care. As a Medical Device Assembly Technician, you'll assemble high-quality medical equipment used in hospital rooms. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on mechanical aptitude and an interest in building products that make a difference.

What You'll Do

• Assemble medical devices using screws, fasteners, and up to 3050 small parts
• Follow established assembly instructions, work instructions, and quality standards
• Document defects, errors, and any deviations in the assembly process
• Perform final testing on sub-assemblies to ensure proper function
• Rotate across six workstations with cross-training opportunities
• Maintain accuracy, efficiency, and strong attention to detail

What You Bring

• 23 years of assembly or manufacturing experience
• Ability to follow written processes, solve problems, and maintain documentation
• Experience using hand tools and basic measurement equipment
• Ability to lift and package assemblies up to 45 lbs
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
• English communication skills (written & verbal)

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in the medical device industry
• Mechanical aptitude (e.g., building or fixing things at home)
• Experience with power tools, soldering, mechanical assembly, or electrical components
• Computer proficiency, including MS Word

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hopkins, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
