Volt is immediately hiring for
Assembler I in
Long Beach, CA. As an
Assembler I you will:
- Experience using power tools, like wire strippers and drills.
- Knowledge of crimpers, and soldering experience.
- Assemble and package complete products from scratch.
- You will receive and maintain certified trained status for update revision in all relevant accessory lines.
- Must maintain a clean and safe workstation environment & wear safety gear as required.
- Perform additional duties that support production goals.
This is a
full-time opportunity Monday - Friday 6 am - 2:30 pm open to overtime.
The ideal candidate will have
Mandatory Skills: - 1 year of related experience in the manufacturing environment or High School or equivalent.
- Mechanical ability preferred, with basic dexterity and physical competence (Occasionally lift 35-50 lb with assistance)
- Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions (MOPs) and basic diagrams in English as well as verbal instructions to complete assignments in a timely manner
- Must have a strong work ethic, be able to take directions, and willing to ask questions when clarity is needed. Ability to plan, track & complete assignments in a timely manner.
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
