Responsibilities of a Banquet Server:

• Welcoming guests upon their arrival and guiding them to their designated table or seat.
• Serves patrons with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner.
• Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression.
• Serves orders by picking up and delivering patrons’ choices from bar and kitchen and delivering accompaniments and condiments from service bars.
• Responds to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs and observing dining process.
• Carrying trays
• Setting up for events
• Serving guests
• Providing information to help food and beverage selections
• Presenting ordered choices in a prompt and efficient manner
• Maintaining dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude
• Preparing room for dining by clothing tables and setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils
• Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording patrons’ choices and identifying patrons’ special dietary needs and special requests.
• Adhering to safety and quality guidelines to ensure the security of guests and team members.

Requirements for Banquet Server:

• • A high school diploma or GED
• • Relevant experience as a server is preferred.
• • Must meet the state's minimum age requirement if serving alcohol.
• • Posses courteous and professional behavior with attentive approach towards guests.
• • Physically fit to meet the strenuous demands of the job such as standing for long periods, carrying heavy objects, and climbing stairs
• • Exceptional customer service skills, superb communication, and interpersonal skills
• • Capable of working within a team for ensuring guest satisfaction
• • Follows given instructions carefully for each occasion
• • Availability to work during early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays

Celebrations On Park is an upscale 5,000 square foot industrial events venue and restaurant than can accommodate up to 250 seated guests and 315 social guests. The venue offers state of the art technology including audio visual equipment and multiple screens. Celebrations on Park features a black ceiling with exposed duct work, industrial lighting to include glass globes and chandeliers, original concrete floor, detailed brick work, custom crafted bar, marble bathrooms and more.
