An Engineering company in Mercer County is looking to fill a part time position for a Business Office Administrator.
Reports To: Director, Business Administration Schedule: Mon - Thursday 9am - 3pm (negotiable)
Job Type: Part-Time $23-24 hour depending on experience
Job Summary:
Seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Business Office Administrator to support both our Business Office and our Research & Development (R&D) technical team. The ideal candidate shall possess excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, with a high level of professionalism. This role is essential in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations and supporting executives and staff with administrative needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist visitors/customers in a professional manner.
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and other correspondence promptly and professionally.
• Provide general administrative support to the Business Office Team, the Technical Team and Executive(s).
• Coordinate meetings, take accurate meeting minutes as needed and distribute.
• Maintain the staff calendar.
• Oversee staff timesheets and ensure timesheet compliance.
• Generate purchase orders, order office supplies, order contract specific material and equipment, log deliveries and distribute accordingly.
• Act as CDI's Government Property Manager by ensuring compliance with the Government Property Policy and Procedures.
• Act as CDI's Facilities Manager and tend to annual inspections and/or impromptu daily facility related occurrences.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries.
