This role is critical to maintaining clean accounts receivable records and supporting cash flow management. You will collaborate with internal teams to resolve unapplied cash, short pays, and payment discrepancies while contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency. Key Responsibilities Apply daily customer payments (ACH, wire, checks, and credit cards) to open invoices in the ERP system. Review and reconcile remittance advice against service contracts and recurring billing schedules. Investigate unapplied payments, short pays, and discrepancies; communicate directly with customers for resolution. Support month‑end close processes by reconciling unapplied cash and preparing related reports. Maintain accurate documentation for audits and compliance reviews. Prepare and distribute cash application metrics and daily cash posting reports. Identify and recommend process improvements to reduce unapplied cash and enhance automation. Key Requirements Minimum 2–3 years of experience in cash applications or accounts receivable; high‑volume environment preferred. Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite required) and Microsoft Excel (basic formulas). Strong understanding of accounting principles (debits and credits). Experience with ACH, wires, lockbox, and credit card payment processing. Excellent communication skills and ability to interact directly with customers. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Team‑oriented mindset with proactive problem‑solving skills. Preferred Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Experience in manufacturing or logistics industries. Familiarity with Salesforce or JDE.
