Vaco Atlanta is hiring a Cash Applications Specialist to join a rapidly growing, professional services company. In this high-impact role, you’ll ensure customer payments are applied accurately and on time—directly supporting clean AR, strong cash flow, and overall financial health. Role: Cash Applications Specialist Location: Dunwoody, GA Onsite: Hybrid Job Type: Contract to Hire Compensation: $22 - $28/hour What You’ll Do: Apply daily payments (ACH, wire, check, credit card) to open invoices in NetSuite. Reconcile remittance advice, resolve unapplied cash, short pays, and discrepancies. Research unidentified funds and support month-end close. Partner closely with Collections and Billing teams to ensure accuracy. Maintain organized documentation and assist with audits and reporting. What You Need: 5+ years cash applications/AR experience (service environment ideal). Advanced Excel + NetSuite expertise required. Strong reconciliation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
