Northwood Club is a premier country club established in 1946 and located in North Dallas, best known for hosting the 1952 U.S. Open. The Club was listed as #1 Golf Course renovation in Avid Golfer Magazine's 2019 Private Clubs and named Best Overall Club in 2022-2024. The club also has a Distinguished Clubs of the World Emerald Designation for outstanding member service. Our staff consists of a wide range of professionals who are well recognized in areas of Tennis, Golf and Culinary.
Northwood Club is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Dietitian passionate about optimizing performance, managing weight, and enhancing aesthetics through nutrition. The ideal candidate can thrive in an entrepreneurial, commission-based environment and excel at building lasting client relationships. Our club is seeking a self-sufficient, professional, and technically proficient dietitian to join our dynamic wellness team. This is a unique opportunity to build your brand and business within a luxurious setting, supported by a collaborative team. Position is part-time with flexible hours in a great work enviornment.
Essential Duties:
Education/Experience: Bachelors degree as registered dietitian or dietitian nutritionist; or accredited with up to two years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively, English is required to give instruction, print and speak.
Mathematical Skills: May be required: to add and subtract, use and create excel spreadsheets. Able to calculate metabolic and fitness information for members.
Reasoning Ability: May be required: to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one and two step instructions; to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Physical Demands: Occasionally stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches, sits, stands and walks. Regularly lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 40 pounds.
Vision Requirements: Regularly uses close, distance, color, and peripheral vision as well as depth perception. Ability to adjust focus.
Environment/Noise: Frequently works in air conditioned and heated conditions (non-weather). Regularly works inside. Noise level is moderate, but frequent noise from fitness equipment and machinery.
Certificates/Licenses: Accredited Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
