About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer for one of its private psychiatric facilities. The CFO will be responsible for monitoring and controlling accounts receivables, improving the hospital's profitability, developing and implementing financial policies and procedures, preparing financial statements, and providing required financial reporting. This role requires a minimum of 5 years' experience in a financial leadership position within a healthcare setting, with a strong preference for candidates holding a Master's degree. The CFO will work closely with the CEO and other department heads to ensure that cash collection goals are met, and net revenue is accurately stated. They will also be involved in cost monitoring, payor mix analysis, and the negotiation of contract terms with third-party payers. Candidates for the CFO position at the company's private psychiatric facility must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree being preferred. A deep understanding of hospital financial operations, including federal and local tax regulations, is essential. The successful candidate will be skilled in financial analysis, performance interpretation, and have the ability to prepare and present financial reports. The CFO will also be involved in the annual budgeting process and must be adept at using electronic spreadsheets and financial software.
