vineyard vines is a highly successful, privately held, American clothing and accessory retailer founded in 1998 on Marthas Vineyard by brothers, Shep & Ian Murray. With Shep & Ian still at the helm today, vineyard vines has experienced exponential year over year growth and now operates over 120 retail locations including an outlet division, a successful e-commerce business, domestic distribution center, and expanding corporate headquarters. In addition, vineyard vines is carried in major department stores such as Nordstrom and Bloomingdales as well as numerous specialty boutiques across the US.

As vineyard vines enters its next phase of growth, we are seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to bring our story to life with authenticity across both new and existing customer segments. The CMO will own full-stack marketing, spanning brand, performance marketing, social, content, PR, retail marketing, and digital channels, ensuring every touchpoint elevates the vineyard vines experience and reinforces the brands signature feel-good ethos.
This leader will craft a holistic, integrated marketing strategy that harmonizes performance and brand-building efforts, creating meaningful, customercentric moments that embody the good life. The ideal candidate is inspired by vineyard vines mission and has a track record of building culturedriven lifestyle brands through authentic storytelling, elevated experiences, purposeful partnerships, and datadriven insights.
In close partnership with the cofounders, copresidents and crossfunctional teams, the CMO will champion a culture of hospitality, creativity, and customer obsessionstrengthening brand loyalty, deepening emotional connection, and advancing the next chapter of the vineyard vines brand.
