Description The Clinical Research Assistant performs a variety of research, data, and clerical duties of a routine and technical nature to support the conduct of clinical research under the supervision of a senior research team member. The Research Assistant will develop a progressive understanding of Good Clinical Practices (GCP), Office of Human Research Protections (OHRP) regulations, and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations. Responsibilities include identifying eligible participants, preparing documents and supplies for research visits, and conducting and documenting visits and protocol-specific testing/interviews according to study protocols and SOPs. Qualifications Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree in a science, technical, health-related field, or another applicable discipline. (Required) Minimum Work Experience 0 years experience in a medical or scientific research setting (Preferred) Functional Accountabilities Adheres to standards for responsible conduct of research, including federal and institutional regulations. Plans, conducts, and manages research projects under the supervision of the principal investigator. Maintains knowledge of assigned research protocols, study procedures, and timelines. Accurately creates, maintains, and organizes study documents and materials. Participates in participant recruitment, screening, and informed consent processes. Conducts and documents research visits and testing per protocols. Ensures data quality and resolves queries promptly. Collaborates effectively with team members and stakeholders. Promotes safety and adheres to institutional policies and guidelines.
