Although the magazine debuted in March 2014, as an eight-page newsletter for Washington’s 4,000 marijuana-related business applicants, it grew to a national 148-page monthly magazine within just one year. The magazine was honored by Samir Husni, Ph.D., the director of the Magazine Innovation Center at the University of Mississippi, School of Journalism and MIN at a ceremony in New York City, as one of the fastest growing magazines in America .It is now the largest business magazine for the legal cannabis industry. Marijuana Venture has enlisted a team of attorneys, accountants and other business professionals to lend their expertise and provide readers with the best information possible in the ever-changing world of legalized cannabis. The goal is to help business owners operate efficiently, profitably and in full compliance with state regulations.
Job Description:
We are seeking motivated and results-driven individuals to join our dynamic sales team as Commission-Based Sales Representatives. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling ad space for both the magazine and our digital streams of content], driving revenue through effective communication and relationship-building with potential clients.
Responsibilities:
Identify and reach out to potential clients to present our products.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Meet and exceed sales targets through proactive selling and negotiation.
Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to position our offerings effectively.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Be comfortable building a portfolio of clients
