Job Description

We are partnered with a start-up financial services firm focused on working with fintech executives to help build their brand. The current CEO, coming from both Railsbank and Green Dot, uniquely crafts engaging, intellectual, and humorous content that will be seen by other businesses who face relevant business problems. The ideal Content Writer will get to network with C-level execs with leading FinTech companies and assist the CEO in interviewing execs and creating LinkedIn content and increasing their clients' brand awareness, engagement, etc.


Our client connects top thought leaders from leading companies, sharing their stories through LinkedIn with carefully targeted audiences. Through brief, conversational interviews, the team crafts post-sized thought leadership series from just 30 minutes of executives' time weekly. Members work in peer cohorts, promoting cross-collaboration for expanded network effects while leveraging data to enhance the process.

In a creative, collaborative setting, this firm values innovative content creators passionate about crafting engaging stories for client audiences. Their approach combines personal and business insights to authentically showcase a company's mission, broadening reach, fostering opportunities, and enhancing conversions.

Role Overview: Our client seeks an enthusiastic, self-motivated content writer to support content brainstorming, strategy, and writing for fintech, banking, and payments executives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop compelling content series, writing concise, persuasive pieces aligned with the executive's voice.
  • Break down complex stories into engaging, post-size narratives.
  • Write, edit, and proofread content that is engaging, on-brand, and impactful.
  • Manage deadlines and prioritize multiple projects effectively.
  • Research industry trends and customer insights to ensure relevance.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in banking, payments, or fintech, with an ability to grasp executive-level discussions.
  • Skilled in a direct, concise writing style suited to a CEO audience.
  • Strong communication skills to adapt writing across various voices and industries.
  • Able to handle multiple projects with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Proven ability to deliver quality content under tight deadlines.
