We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Copywriter for Social Media to join our team in the Cannabis industry. This role is a unique opportunity to showcase your talent in developing engaging content and creating compelling visuals that resonate with our audience and drive brand awareness. You will be responsible for crafting and managing our digital content across various social media platforms. This role requires a creative thinker with a strong understanding of the digital media landscape, exceptional copywriting skills, and a knack for graphic design.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our business goals.
2. Craft compelling and engaging copy for various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
3. Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually appealing graphics that complement the written content.
4. Manage and monitor our social media channels, engaging with our audience, responding to comments, and fostering a positive community.
5. Analyze social media metrics to gauge the effectiveness of the content and adjust strategies as needed.
6. Stay updated with the latest social media trends and best practices in the manufacturing industry.
7. Work closely with the design team to develop compelling images and visuals for digital content.
8. Ensure all content aligns with our brand voice and guidelines.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in digital media, copywriting, and social media management.
3. Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio of work.
4. Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
5. Proficiency in using social media platforms and management tools.
6. Familiarity with the manufacturing industry is a plus.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
8. Strong understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
9. Experience in conducting audience and buyer persona research.
10. Creative mind with a strong visual sense and the ability to design compelling images.
11. Proficient in using graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
12. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
