Position Overview :
As a Correctional Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining safety and security within a correctional facility. You will supervise and manage the activities of inmates, enforce rules, and respond to emergencies while fostering a safe and respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Monitor and supervise inmate activities within housing units, work areas, and recreation areas.
• Conduct searches for contraband and enforce facility rules and regulations.
• Assist in the rehabilitation process by promoting positive behavior among inmates.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain order during incidents.
• Complete detailed reports and documentation as required.
• Collaborate with facility staff and management to uphold security protocols.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or GED required; additional education or relevant certifications preferred.
• Corrections Experience Preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical fitness test.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to integrity, accountability, and fairness.
