Who We Are

Owners Risk Insurance Services provides risk management consulting services to franchisee owners of a fast-food chain.

Position Purpose

The Data Integration Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing data flow between multiple systems and third-party administrators (TPAs). This role oversees the aggregation of underwriting data, ensures accuracy and consistency across all online processes and platforms, and supports system integrations that drive operational efficiency. The Data Integration Manager reports to the Senior Vice President of Risk Operations and works closely with the Claims & Captive Resources team, as well as IT vendors, brokers, and carrier partners, to maintain a unified, high-quality data environment supporting all Owner/Operator Insurance-related operations.

The position also leads efforts to apply AI-driven data validation, predictive analytics, and workflow automation to enhance underwriting precision, claims reporting, and executive insights for an insurance program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage monthly data transfers from TPAs/Brokers and ensure data accuracy.
  • Aggregate and maintain underwriting data for reporting and analysis.
  • Oversee and streamline online processes across multiple systems.
  • Partner with the Claims team to coordinate data needs and integrations.
  • Identify and resolve data inconsistencies across platforms.
  • Improve automation and efficiency in data workflows.
  • Collaborate with IT and vendors to support system functionality and updates.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports to support business operations.
  • Implement and monitor security best practices across all data pipelines, APIs, and dashboards.

Automation, AI, and Advanced Analytics

  • Leverage AI/ML models to identify anomalies in claims and exposure data, detect emerging loss trends, and validate location-level risk scoring.
  • Support and expand use of the Precision Risk Allocation model and ML Risk Score to improve data-driven pricing and risk segmentation.
  • Partner with the Claims team to test and deploy AI tools for predictive analytics, natural language data extraction, and claims categorization.

Reporting & Insights

  • Manage and enhance data visualization and dashboarding through tools like Tableau, supporting leadership and operator-level reporting.
  • Aggregate underwriting, claims, and enrollment data into unified reporting layers to support captive performance tracking, loss ratio reviews, and board presentations.
  • Collaborate with Risk Operations and Finance teams to provide data-driven insights into premium allocation, loss trends, and participation metrics.
  • Support data feeds and visuals for annual captive meetings, committee meetings, and ad-hoc presentation

Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of experience in data management, system integration, or insurance analytics—preferably within the Property & Casualty or Captive insurance space.
  • Proven experience managing data exchanges between TPAs, brokers, and carriers, including claim and policy record reconciliation.
  • Strong understanding of data flow processes and database concepts.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI/Tableau, and advanced Excel (Power Query, Pivot Models).
  • Familiarity with AI/ML platforms and customizable automation tools
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills to translate complex data structures into actionable insights.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication skills for cross-team collaboration (IT, Claims, Underwriting).
