Join to apply for the Database Marketing Manager role at Sycuan Casino Resort Join to apply for the Database Marketing Manager role at Sycuan Casino Resort The Database Marketing Manager oversees Sycuan Casino Resorts (SCR) initiatives to manage the player database, analyze behavior, and optimize to attract and retain high-value players. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Creates and manage strategies based on player behavior, lifecycle, demographics, and other factors to increase the size of the active marketable database Designs tailored marketing strategies for different database segments to enhance their gaming experience and satisfaction Identifies underperforming segments of the database and develops marketing strategies to address performance Manages external vendors to complete database append and/or hygiene, when necessary Implements data quality control measures to ensure data integrity and minimize errors Spearheads work with relevant departments to develop strategies to maximize database signups, improve player retention and conversion, reduce player churn, and increase recapture of lapsed guests Strategic Planning Develops and executes comprehensive direct marketing strategies to increase player retention and conversion, reduce churn, and increase recapture of lapsed guests Tracks and analyzes performance of marketing campaigns and identify areas of improvement Conducts testing to optimize reinvestment, offers, creative, and delivery methods Keeps abreast of competitor marketing programs and reinvestment strategies Collaboration and Communication Works with player development team to maximize strategies to increase player retention, reduce churn, increase reactivation of lapsed players Presents findings and insights to senior management and make recommendations for strategic adjustments Collaborates cross-functionally with various departments such as marketing, operations, finance, and IT to ensure cohesive strategies Communicates campaign information and performance to relevant stakeholders and team members Job Specifications: Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Economics, or related field or equivalent experience 5+ years database marketing &/or customer analytics or equivalent experience Experience in gaming and/or hospitality analytics Experience with casino management systems Direct experience deploying campaigns and expertise in best practices MBA or other graduate level degree preferred Skills and Knowledge: Advance proficiency in big-data analytics tools such as SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Excel, etc. Knowledge of database management best practices Excellent project management, prioritization, and communication skills Ability to analyze, compile and disseminate complex information in a clear and concise manner Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations Ability to read, analyze, interpret and make recommendations based on statistical reports Ability to maintain organization, meet deadlines, possess integrity, confidentiality, and discretion in handling confidential information Ability to identify trends, opportunities, or deficiencies and develop solutions to address Ability to make sound decisions and solve complex problems Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding work environment Ability to effectively communicate and interact with team members, colleagues and business contacts Ability to conduct effective presentations to Senior Executive Staff Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in all situations Ability to accept constructive criticism Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in the English language Direct: None Indirect: None Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Marketing Industries Gambling Facilities and Casinos Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Sycuan Casino Resort by 2x Inferred from the description for this job 401(k) Vision insurance Medical insurance Tuition assistance Get notified when a new job is posted.
