Job Description

Coordinate all recycling and waste efforts for distribution centers. Develop and track DC recycling and waste programs, oversee reconciliation, coordinate monthly reports from vendors, generate internal recycling and waste reports. Support the DC Facilities/Equipment Maintenance Supervisor in all aspects.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Coordinate collection of data from 3rd party vendors relating to recycling efforts across all distribution centers.

Act as a liaison between 3rd party vendors and the O'Reilly distribution centers to facilitate all recycling efforts which will include vendor relations and problem resolution.

Act as a liaison between 3rd party vendors and the O'Reilly Legal team to facilitate contract executions for the purpose of securing recycling pick-up and payment agreements.

Develop and maintain tracking to efficiently audit recycling pick-ups and reconcile related payments.

Perform annual vendor assessments with all recycling vendors to assure contracts are maintained and/or renewed. Ensure the rates agreed upon for recycling meet the industry standard.

Monitor recycling markets (cardboard, metal, paper, plastic, wood pallets)

Negotiate with vendors when notified of price adjustments.

Conduct at least one recycle stream RFP each year.

Maintain accurate record keeping for all DC recycling and waste agreements.

Ensure knowledge and connection of DC programs by visiting 2 to 3 DCs per year as needed.

Develop reports as needed.

Assist with budgeting of recycling and waste for all distribution centers.

Assist with the development and upkeep of documented best practices and procedures for all DC maintenance and recycling efforts.

Assist the DC Facilities/Equipment Maintenance Supervisor in tracking DC Maintenance records, equipment repairs, and asset identification.

Responsible for maintenance software access for all distribution centers.

Assist the field maintenance teams with maintenance software functionality and troubleshooting.

Review Lucernex ER (expense request) to assure accuracy of request matching budget log.

Responsible for maintaining and posting equipment related material and reports on TeamNet.

Assist in planning, preparing, and executing the bi-annual DC maintenance conference.

Cross train within the Corporate Distribution Operations department to support the overall workload.

All other duties as assigned.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES
Required:

High school diploma or equivalent

1+ years of administrative or clerical office experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office, primarily Word and Excel

Good organization skills and ability to multi-task

Attention to detail

Advanced conflict resolution skills

Self-motivated and ability to work without direct supervisor

Excellent customer service relationship skills
Desired:

2+ years of administrative or clerical office experience

Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
