Job Description
The commercial delivery driver will be the face of the company and will interact with internal and external customers every day. Must be friendly with a great attitude and willingness to exceed customer needs. The ideal candidate with be able to work independently, require minimal supervision and able to communicate effectively at all times.
Responsibilities:
• Make commercial deliveries to customers.
• Safely operate 26 ft box truck, back truck into parking & unloading areas.
• Interact with customers throughout the day while making deliveries.
• Will assist with moving up to 75 pounds.
• Assist with loading and unloading truck when needed.
• Properly stage product for efficient loading and unloading.
• Must be able to plan routes for the quickest routes.
• May be asked to assist with other tasks in the production / warehouse when not out on delivery.
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of DFW area highways and traffic patterns.
• Able to use GPS navigation to efficiently plan delivery routes and schedules.
• Possess integrity and a good work ethic.
• Valid Class C Texas Driver’s License
• DOT Medical Certification – Documentation required
• Clean driving history – Documentation required
• Ability to pass 7-year background check with no felonies, theft or violence.
• Demonstrated ability to be punctual, dependable, and reliable.
• Must be flexible to meet work schedules, as required.
• Ability to understand basic technical instructions, both written and verbal.
