We are a growing, patient-centered dental practice in San Jose, CA, committed to providing exceptional care in a warm, friendly, and supportive environment. As our practice expands, we are looking for a motivated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team.
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Dental Assistant who enjoys working with patients, supporting the clinical team, and contributing to a smooth patient experience. Dental assisting experience is preferred but not required —we are open to training the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow with our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
\t•\tAssist the dentist chairside during procedures
\t•\tPrepare and set up treatment rooms
\t•\tSterilize and organize instruments and equipment
\t•\tTake digital X-rays (if licensed)
\t•\tSupport patients before, during, and after treatment
\t•\tMaintain cleanliness and infection-control standards
\t•\tHelp with clinical notes and documentation
\t•\t Willingness to assist in front office tasks when needed (phone support, scheduling, patient check-in/out, etc.)
Qualifications:
\t•\tDental assisting experience preferred but not required
\t•\tX-ray certification preferred (not required if willing to obtain)
\t•\tPositive attitude and strong work ethic
\t•\tExcellent communication and patient-care skills
\t•\tAbility to multitask and work well in a team environment
\t•\tReliable, punctual, and eager to learn
Schedule: Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
Location: San Jose, CA
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience
