Responsibilities:*You will be responsible for the following:*
* Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile.
* Ensure patients are well informed and comfortable - before, during, and after their appointment - about their treatment and oral health.
* Take and process dental radiographs, impressions and intraoral photos.
* Prepares and sterilizes treatment room and equipment.
* Provide chair-side assistance to Providers during treatment procedures.
* Document dental care services by charting in patients’ records.
* Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment.
Qualifications:*You will be required to possess the following:*
* Six (6) or more months of practical experience as a pediatric dental assistant.
* Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
* Completion of a CODA-accredited dental assisting program (Preferred).
* Quick learner with problem solving skills
* Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
* Technical and troubleshooting skills for software applications used for charting, patient records,
* scheduling, etc.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth.
* Be organized and possess a superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.
