Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Manage patient records and update information in computerized systems
- Process billing and insurance claims following HIPAA guidelines
- Assist with collections and billing inquiries
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a dental office is preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in computerized systems for scheduling and record-keeping
- Strong clerical and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with office management practices in a clinic or medical office
