Job Description

Shift: 6:00 pm 6:00 am rotating shifts. Work 2 days; off 2 days; work 3 days; off 2 days

Reports To: Electrical Supervisor

Job Purpose: To perform complex predictive and preventative electrical maintenance functions and make necessary repairs to plant electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot electrical problems make decisions necessary to repair and restore equipment to design specifications.
• Perform electrical tests using megger OHM meter and other test equipment.
• Perform work utilizing prints and/or computer logic.
• Perform complex predictive and preventative electrical maintenance functions.
• Make process control changes.
• Read wiring and circuit diagrams.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
• Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.

Skills Knowledge Abilities:

• 1 year of PLC experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in either electrical troubleshooting motors and controls or industrial electrical.
• Ability to read understand and follow safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to use a 2way radio and effectively communicate with all departments.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to use ladders hand and packaging tools.
