Join a prestigious law firm with a renowned environmental law practice. We are seeking a driven Mid-Level Associate Attorney with a strong background in environmental law to contribute to high-impact cases and work closely with clients. This is a unique opportunity to manage complex litigation from start to finish, with significant responsibility and direct involvement in strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with excellent communication skills and a meticulous approach to legal work.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage cases throughout the litigation process, including drafting and responding to pleadings
* Conduct comprehensive discovery, including propounding and responding to requests
* Attend and represent the firm at court hearings
* Assist in trial preparation and strategy development

Qualifications:

* Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
* Active California bar license
* 5+ years of experience in environmental and/or complex litigation
* Experience with, or demonstrated interest in, the major environmental statutes, such as the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, and CERCLA
* Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team managing aspects throughout all phases of litigation
* Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to work well under deadlines
* Exceptional analytical, research, writing, and communication skills
