About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its fundraising and community leadership efforts. The successful candidate will be the chief fundraiser and strategic leader, with a primary focus on individual donor cultivation, stewardship, and major giving strategies. This role is highly relational and community-focused, requiring the Executive Director to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including individual donors, philanthropic partners, local nonprofits, civic leaders, volunteers, and board members. Key responsibilities include leading the implementation of the strategic plan, serving as a connector and communicator across board committees, and sharing regular updates on organizational progress and impact. The Executive Director will also be responsible for maintaining the donor database, collaborating on event sponsorship, and ensuring mission-aligned messaging across all platforms. Candidates for the Executive Director position should have a proven track record in fundraising, strong relationship-building and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams across a small team. Strategic thinking, a passion for community-driven impact, and familiarity with the local community or a willingness to become embedded in it are essential. The role also involves overseeing grantmaking, managing staff, and ensuring financial oversight and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative leadership style and experience working with volunteer-led boards or committees. The position is full-time, with occasional evening and weekend availability required, and is based in the local community.
