Overview:

Experienced ABA Therapist / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Verbal Beginnings is a leading Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy provider serving children diagnosed with autism. We provide extensive training to anyone interested in learning about ABA therapy and autism and have a passion for working with children!

 

Schedule, Location and Compensation:

• When : Sessions typically occur 3-5 days per week for 2-3 hours, most often during after school hours between 3pm-8pm
• Where : Sessions typically occur in the child’s natural environment (in the child’s home, community, and/or school).
• Compensation : $20.00 - $29.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications. Must commit to 15 hrs per week to be sign on bonus eligible.

Responsibilities:

What does my day look like as a Behavior Technician (BT)/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):

• ABA therapists work under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans
• to address communication, behavior, feeding, ADLs, and social skills. The ABA therapist / Registered Behavior Technician
• Collects and records data to monitor the progress of a treatment plan and works in collaboration with the clinical supervisor to update the treatment plan as necessary
