Position: Tank Cleaner

Job Location: Bourg, La.

Hutco Branch: Houma, La.

DESCRIPTION:

Now accepting applications for Tank Cleaners to work in Bourg, La. To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a current TWIC Card and at least 2 years of experience working as a Tank Cleaner.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a current TWIC Card.
• Must pass drug test and E-Verify.
• Personal Protective Equipment:

Hard Hat, Steel Toe Safety Boots, Safety Glasses, Gloves

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Have knowledge of equipment, work processes, and techniques used for this role including the ability to perform all functions of the position in conformity with applicable regulations and generally observed safety practices.
• Clean interiors of boilers, storage tanks, industrial processing tanks, and barges to remove emulsion and incrustations.
• Knowledge of and ability to handle valves, pumps, and hose connections.
• Enter and move through manholes to reach and work in internally confined spaces.
• Traverse gangways and scaffolding at varying heights.
• Traverse and negotiate uneven surfaces and uneven heights between dock and vessel.
• Stooping, squatting, twisting, kneeling, lifting, and reaching.
