Job Type Full-time Description The Fashion Print Designer will focus on the juniors and missy apparel markets, creating versatile, on-trend looks for multiple clients each season. Key responsibilities include developing original artwork, managing print repeats, and maintaining a feminine aesthetic, particularly with statement florals. A strong ability to match colors precisely and follow managerial direction is essential, along with proactive engagement in seeking new projects. PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a Marketing position. Responsibilities Understand the commercial print market for juniors and/or missy apparel Create original art and putting prints into repeat, and cleaning prints Create on-trend looks for juniors and/or missy apparel across several accounts, in same season Versatile design hand with range of style Feminine hand - with ability to create statement florals Ability to match color precisely Proactively seek out opportunities and projects Requirements Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design 3+ years of practical CAD or Graphic Design experience in the apparel industry Proficient in Adobe Suite; especially Photoshop and Illustrator In-depth knowledge of print repeats, print cleaning and creating prints Excellent sense of style and color and overall attention to detail Capable of taking and following direction from manager; can multi-task and prioritize Working independently, to complete tasks in quick turnaround time Strong organizational, time management, communication and presentation skills Positive attitude, with the ability to collaborate team player Ned Graphics a plus New York Pay Rate $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 We strive to hire and nurture amazing talent.
