As the organization continues to evolve, there is a critical need for a Finance Manager to support high-level reporting, maintain financial controls, and contribute to a best-in-class finance function operating under both US GAAP and IFRS.
The Finance Manager will take ownership of complex financial reporting requirements, lead consolidation processes, and play a key role in shaping policy and process improvements. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and analytically minded Finance Manager to engage in meaningful work with enterprise-level visibility.
Job Duties:
Prepare and review quarterly, annual, and periodic financial statements under US GAAP and IFRS
Lead research efforts on evolving accounting standards (FASB, IFRS) and draft new or revised policy guidance
Maintain and enhance accounting policy manuals and financial reporting controls
Identify and implement improvements to the consolidated financial statement process
Support and review consolidated tax provision and related reporting
Provide regular updates to management on financial reporting trends and developments
Develop and distribute ad hoc financial analysis and reports for internal stakeholders
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and maintain a robust internal controls framework
Lead consolidation and financial reporting for multiple entities across global operations
Job Requirements:
CPA, CA, or CMA certification required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
4-6 years of experience in financial reporting within the insurance or reinsurance sector
Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS; experience preparing full financial statements
Proven knowledge of SOX 404 and internal controls
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across teams and senior leadership
Strong written communication and analytical skills
