We're partnering with a globally recognized insurance and reinsurance provider with a strong capital foundation and a reputation for thinking beyond traditional industry norms. As the organization continues to evolve, there is a critical need for a Finance Manager to support high-level reporting, maintain financial controls, and contribute to a best-in-class finance function operating under both US GAAP and IFRS.

The Finance Manager will take ownership of complex financial reporting requirements, lead consolidation processes, and play a key role in shaping policy and process improvements. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and analytically minded Finance Manager to engage in meaningful work with enterprise-level visibility.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare and review quarterly, annual, and periodic financial statements under US GAAP and IFRS

  • Lead research efforts on evolving accounting standards (FASB, IFRS) and draft new or revised policy guidance

  • Maintain and enhance accounting policy manuals and financial reporting controls

  • Identify and implement improvements to the consolidated financial statement process

  • Support and review consolidated tax provision and related reporting

  • Provide regular updates to management on financial reporting trends and developments

  • Develop and distribute ad hoc financial analysis and reports for internal stakeholders

  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and maintain a robust internal controls framework

  • Lead consolidation and financial reporting for multiple entities across global operations

Job Requirements:

  • CPA, CA, or CMA certification required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics

  • 4-6 years of experience in financial reporting within the insurance or reinsurance sector

  • Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS; experience preparing full financial statements

  • Proven knowledge of SOX 404 and internal controls

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across teams and senior leadership

Strong written communication and analytical skills
