Fulfillment Technician Position Details:

Role Purpose: As a Fulfillment Technician at DHL, you will be responsible for the safe, secure, and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. You will replenish or pick products based on directions from pick sheets or hand-held computers, obtaining merchandise from bins or shelves to fill the orders efficiently.

Key Accountabilities of Fulfillment Technician:

• Order Fulfillment: Efficiently pick customer orders or shipments, ensuring the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.

• Inventory Management: Accurately count product inventory by location and assist in physical inventories.

• Product Handling: Transport orders to shipping locations utilizing non-powered material handling equipment.

• Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, neat, orderly, and safe work area.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as inbound, outbound, auto store, shipping, and receiving to ensure smooth operations.

• Documentation: Prepare products for safe shipment and verify accuracy via computer, shipping label, and packing list.

Required Education and Experience:

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred.

• Experience:

• 0 to 12 months experience in a warehouse setting, preferred.

• Minimum of 1 years' experience in Order Fulfillment as an Order Picker and Packer, including cross-trained skills across multiple departments.

• Skills:

• General Computer skills are required.

• Experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) is highly desired. Examples include Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, and SAP.

• Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 90% of the shift.

• Must be able to safely lift and carry 50-75 pounds throughout the shift.
