Job Description

Seasoned housekeeper with long time experience and excellent skills needed for a principal in Palm Beach, FL. The position requires traveling to the family's home in East Hampton during the summer months (May 15th to October 15th) and working the winter months in Palm Beach (October 15th to May 15th).

SCHEDULE : 5 days per week, 40 hour work week. Days usually start 10/11am. Weekends Required. Off days are flexible between Monday/Tuesday or Tuesday/Wednesday

Live-in accommodation Hamptons: Private room with en-suite bathroom in the basement. Family may sometimes opt to provide an Airbnb instead.

(This is a Live-Out position in Palm Beach, however, a live-in option is also available).

Responsibilities include general housekeeping and overall organization and cleaning of the homes. Ability to cook/ bake is a big plus, but not a requirement.

Ideal candidate must have experience managing fine homes and the ability to independently and unobtrusively meet the needs of the principals. Must be professional, flexible, willing to take direction from the family manager, work well with existing staff and have a strong desire to execute responsibilities with a pleasant attitude. Self-starter.

Job Duties include but are not limited to;

• General housekeeping and upkeep of all areas
• Making the beds daily and organizing the bedrooms
• Proper bathroom cleaning (Removing the trash, wiping down counters and mirrors, refreshing towels and robes)
• Care for high-end surfaces and furnishes (Marble, wood, silver, fine China etc.)
• Family laundry care. Washing personal clothing, steaming/pressing, folding and closet organization, bed linens, shoe care, care for delicate clothing.
• Vacuuming, dusting and mopping
• Organizing pantries. Cleaning kitchen. Clearing dishwasher etc.
• Receive packages/answer the door
• Pet care. Comfortable ad good with dogs
• All other housekeeping related duties as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years Housekeeper experience working in high end homes
• Verifiable references.
• Organized and details. Non intrusive
• Pet friendly
• Valid drivers license

Compensation & Benefits: $35 to $40 per hour. PTO, Holiday pay, Sick pay. Other benefits TBD SOFLO Domestics
