Full-Time Reading Specialist Job Opportunity
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Reading Specialist to join our team near Needham, Massachusetts. This full-time position entails working 32.5 hours per week onsite, with an immediate start date and an end date extending until June 2024. As a Reading Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing engaging learning opportunities for small groups and individual students, ensuring alignment with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Acmodation Plans.
Responsibilities: - Develop and deliver lessons that cater to the specific needs outlined in IEPs and Acmodation Plans.
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers to ensure that each student's unique needs are effectively addressed.
- Provide mandated Inclusion/Direct Instruction as required by IEP service delivery.
- plete Education Assessment Forms as necessary, adhering to guidelines set by public schools.
- Work collaboratively with the IEP Team to develop integrated education plans for each student.
Requirements: - Active certifications in Massachusetts as a Reading Specialist.
- Successful pletion of a CORI search and fingerprints (non-negotiable requirement).
- Ability to participate in a Zoom interview process.
