• Performs building and grounds maintenance and general upkeep duties as needed.
• Inspects and cleans tools & equipment
• Clean and prepare work property by disposing of waste, removing debris and possible hazards
• Performs scheduled custodial duties, cleaning floors, paint, scrape, power wash/water blast, bush cut, trim overgrown vegetation, and other projects as assigned.
• Performs light to basic maintenance work to include changing light bulb, faulty electrical switches, and switch plates, unstop toilets and plumbing, carpentry etc. as needed.
• Uses common hand tools, such as screwdrivers, saws, drills, wrenches, and hammers to fix, replace, or repair equipment or parts of building.
• Not requiring a specialized technician, may fix or repair windows, doors, floors, woodwork, walls, and other parts of the building.
• Assists skilled workers with installations, modifications, adjustments and replacement of signs, tools equipment, and any other miscellaneous projects as directed.
• Inspects and diagnose problems and figures out a way to correct them.
• Performs janitorial services as needed on the premises.
• Monitors property and visitors and reports any suspicious activities to the Property Administrator.
• Works well around animals as we are an animal hospital
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Able to assist with Air conditioning issues, cleaning etc
• Two or more years of general maintenance work experience.
• Must be able to learn at a faster than average pace and multi-task.
• Must be willing and able to respond after hours or on weekends for emergency repairs or special projects.
• Must be able to work in high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations.
• Must have great Physical strength and stamina to lift 50lbs. or more and operate hand power tools.
• Ability to effectively work individually or in teams with diverse groups.
