Overview Genetic Counselor at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange in Orange, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Day shift. Responsibilities Under the direction of the Department Manager, Director of Operations and Executive Leadership the Genetic Counselor will assess and counsel individuals and families regarding inherited cancer risk and risk management as well as participate in cancer genetics case conferences, community outreach events, medical staff and consumer education, collaborative research projects, program meetings, and program development. Qualifications Master\'s Degree in Genetic Counseling/Clinical Genetics. Upon hire: California Genetic Counselor - State of California Genetic Counselors Upon hire: National Certified Genetic Counselor - American Board of Genetic Counseling Preferred Qualifications 2 years experience providing genetic counseling and risk assessment.
