Salary: 67,600 - 122,200 USD per year Requirements:

• Education: I require a Bachelor's Degree in Geographic Information Science, Computer Science, Cartographic Science, Geology, Social Science, Environmental Science, or a related technical field along with 2 years of experience, or a Master's Degree with no experience.
• I also accept 4 years of work experience, or an Associate's Degree with 2 years of experience as a substitute for a Bachelor's Degree.
• An active secret level security clearance is necessary, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance for this role.

Responsibilities:

• I expect you to have a strong understanding of Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) software, as well as software engineering and programming for GIS systems across large computer, minicomputer, and microprocessor systems supporting a broad base of applications.
• You will be responsible for developing and maintaining GIS software programs, performing software coding, and writing documentation according to design specifications.
• I need you to design and implement data conversion procedures while ensuring software and database quality control.
• Your role involves ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our systems.
• You will perform detailed software and database conversion design and will be directly involved in coding and implementing complex and strategic portions of application software and database conversion projects.
• It is essential that you confirm GIS data maintains established quality standards.
• You will oversee quality assurance testing for GIS software programs.

Leidos is looking for a GIS Developer to join our Government-Contractor team, where you will help provide a near real-time, geospatially accurate Common Operating Picture (COP) that supports mission requirements. Our COP enables the sharing and reuse of geospatial intelligence across multiple functional areas to support military operations. You will be supporting systems responsible for processing, exploiting, and disseminating multi-discipline and multi-sensor intelligence, mapping, and weather information to weapon system platforms and Warfighters.

For this position, the pay range is $67,600.00 - $122,200.00. Please note that this pay range serves as a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
