Sales Engineer

A well-established manufacturer is searching for a Sales Engineer to join their team! A leader in fabrication of custom industrial solutions for over 50 years. Great benefits and a fantastic work environment with long-term growth opportunities.

Sales Engineer Responsibilities:

• Meets with clients about potential projects in industrial settings
• Assess client needs from equipment and building drawings and specifications
• Evaluate clients needs in all aspects of the sell from configuration, assessing loads, and selecting components
• Identify and control installation labor costs as well as other costs which support project pricing
• Ability to capture key performance rates and dimensions relevant to clients’ needs
• Entrepreneurial mindset to create and generate leads
• Ability to work with full PPE to include at minimum safety glasses, helmet, visibility vest and safety-toed boots.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related fields is required.
• 3-5 years’ experience in Sales/Application Engineering
• Excellent time management, problem prevention and solving skills
• 3D modeling Software knowledge preferred
• Experience in P&L Management as well as creating contracts
• Experience contracting or plant management is preferred
