Job Details Location: TEMPLE TERRACE, FL Duration: 9 Months Rate: $50/hr On C2C (Non-negotiable) Job Description Design and develop Settlements functionality in VIG, including designing and coding from specifications, analyzing, evaluating, testing, debugging, documenting, and implementing moderately complex software applications. Required Skills: SPRING, FLEX Work under general direction to devise or modify procedures for complex problems, considering hardware capacity and limitations. Perform all phases of application programming activities at a high technical level. Engage in analysis, design, and development of hardware, firmware, embedded systems, and operating systems. Coordinate with departments on new deployments. Research and analyze data processing functions, methods, and procedures. Monitor program execution and performance. Modify, install, and document system software applications. Monitor system capacity, plan disaster recovery, and provide Tier 2 support. Customize applications and maintain program libraries and manuals. Prepare high-level technical communications. Identify and escalate production impact issues. Qualifications B.S. in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering. 5+ years of Java/J2EE experience in production systems. Experience with frameworks and technologies: Web Applications, JAXB, Spring, ORM, Web Services, Junit. Experience building Adobe Flex or Air applications with ActionScript. XML processing skills. Build scripting with Ant/Maven. SQL experience with Oracle, PLSQL. Teamwork experience. Optional Skills System Monitoring. Test-Driven Development experience. Additional Requirements 4-year degree. Vendor to supply a laptop meeting specified requirements.
