Job Description
We are looking for 1 new kitchen designer to add to our team at Hood's Home Center in St. Peter's, MO!
- Prospective Candidates must be familiar with 2020 Design Software or have experience selling kitchen and bath products in the past with some CAD software experience. If you have a design background without CAD or 2020 experience we will consider training you.
- Employees must have good people skills as you will be selling kitchen cabinets directly to walk-in customers.
- We have a fast paced work environment and get extremely busy at times so you must be able to think fast and adapt to challenges quickly.
- We are looking for employees to work 8-5 or 9-6 shifts. All employees have to work on Saturday because that is our busiest day of the week but we are closed on Sundays so you will at least get part of the weekend off and then an additional off day during the week.
- This position will be paid hourly but you also are eligible for commissions based on kitchen cabinet sales. We also offer 401k matching, health insurance, and paid vacation after 1 year of employment.
- Rate of pay will be negotiable depending on work experience. All kitchen designers will be eligible for spiffs (commission) based on cabinet sales.
