Job Description

We are seeking experienced landscape architect/designers or architects with a passion for outdoor spaces to join an award-winning design firm in their Dallas office. The individual will work with principals and associates in the office to collaborate on a variety of landscape and urban design project types and scales.

Firm: Design firm with collaborative culture that specializes in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, and Master Planning for a wide range of project types and scopes ranging from gardens and parks to residential and commercial projects. The successful candidate for the position will have a firm foundation in:
• Design skills from conceptual planning to refined detail and site design
• Design graphic skills and support documentation
• Computer applications proficiency (AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup or other
modeling programs)
• Meeting deadlines and budget requirements
• Construction methodologies to effectively oversee preparation of CD sets including hardscape, plant materials, specs, and bidding.
• Coordination with several disciplines on various projects

Requirements:

• Minimum of bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or Urban Design.
• 2-10 years of professional experience working in a design firm.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup.
• Experience with production of construction documents. 
• Familiarity with hardscape and plant materials preferred.
