Be the Face of the Future of News in Southern Colorado
Are you a dynamic storyteller, a passionate journalist, and a forward-thinking leader ready to shape the future of local news? KXRM-TV FOX21 in beautiful Colorado Springs is seeking a Main Evening News Anchor to drive our evening newscasts (4:30p, 5p, 6:30p, 9p, and 10p) and help us redefine what it means to be a local broadcaster in a rapidly changing media landscape.
This isn’t your typical anchor job, it’s a chance to make an impact. We’re not just reporting the news; we’re leading the conversation. What We’re Looking For:
We want a trailblazer who isn’t afraid to get out from behind the desk. Someone who can mentor younger journalists, be active with ideas in the editorial meeting, write and produce impactful content, and jump in as a field reporter on a weekly basis. This is a hands-on leadership role in a collaborative, high-energy newsroom.

Are fluent in digital and social media, and understand their role in modern journalism
Are a collaborative team player with a good sense of humor and an entrepreneurial spirit
Bonus Points If You:
Know your way around ENPS, Adobe Premiere, and the Ross graphics system
Have experience with streaming content and digital-first thinking
Love a newsroom that’s fast-paced, innovative, and fun
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of 5 years on-air anchoring experience (market size considered)
Exceptional writing, communication, and on-camera skills
A strong editorial voice and excellent news judgment
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Willingness to work flexible hours when news breaks

COMPENSATION RANGE:
Annual Salary: $90,000, commensurate with knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.
