Collaborate with concept artists and designers to understand character concepts and translate them into 3D models;
Work closely with animators to ensure character models function well with animations;
Iterate on feedback from art directors, lead artists, and other team members to refine character models;
Ensure that characters meet technical requirements for various platforms (PC, console, mobile);
Troubleshoot and solve issues related to character models, such as clipping, deformation, or performance problems;
Keep up with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques to continually improve skills and the quality of work;
Learn and implement new software and tools as required by the project;
Document the creation process, techniques used, and maintain organized files for easy access and modification;
Ensure that all assets are correctly named, stored, and versioned within the project’s asset management system.
Experience in creating detailed character models based on concept art, references, and design specifications;
Strong skills in:
– Autodesk Maya or Autodesk 3ds Max or Blender
– ZBrush
– Substance Painter (Substance Designer will be a plus)
– Marvelous Designer

Unreal Engine: For importing characters, testing them in-game, and ensuring they work correctly within the game’s environment;
Ornatrix or XGen for real-time hair creation;
UE Meta Human creator;
Houdini.
