Millwork Finisher – Full-Time

Yellow Factory USA – Maspeth, NY

Yellow Factory USA is a new and growing millwork shop located in Maspeth, NY, specializing in high-quality architectural woodworking. We are seeking a skilled, full-time Millwork Finisher with hands-on experience operating industrial finishing equipment and preparing materials for a range of custom wood products.

This position is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team from the ground up and grow with the company. Health insurance is offered after a 90-day probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Sanding, buffing, polishing, and toning using industrial finishing machines and tools.
• Preparing surfaces for finishes including primer, paint, stains, and clear coats.
• Conducting quality inspections and performing necessary touch-ups to meet finish standards.
• Collaborating with production team members to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Adhering to job specifications and finish standards for each project.

Requirements

• Proven experience with finishing in a millwork or woodworking environment.
• Familiarity with industrial machines used for sanding, spraying, and surface preparation.
• Experience with paint spraying techniques and knowledge of color mixing machines.
• Experience with the Cefla spray machine and drying oven is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
• Good communication skills and a team-first attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, start date July 1st
