Job Description

School District No. 64 (Gulf Islands) invites applications for the continuing, twelve-month, forty (40) hours per week position (1.00 FTE) as a Network Systems Analyst on Saltspring Island, located in the Strait of Georgia between Vancouver and Victoria. This position is effective immediately. The pay rate is $33.30 per hour.

Necessary Qualifications Include:

1. Grade 12
2. Two year Information Technology program at an accredited post-secondary institution
3. Minimum of five years recent and relevant experience in multi-platform environments
4. Specialized relevant training, (e.g. Certification in Apple, Microsoft, Cisco, Linux, Palo Alto, Ruckus and/or network tools)
5. Valid BC driver’s license
6. Working knowledge of loading/lifting techniques, sufficient strength and agility to perform a variety of manual tasks.
7. Documented evidence of exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as a member of a team OR an equivalent combination of documented experience and training.
