The News Anchor serves as the primary presenter of news stories and other content for all platforms in a manner that is clear, engaging, and meaningful to news consumers. Responsibilities: Presents news stories and other content for all platforms. Ensures that all news content meets company standards for journalistic integrity and production quality. Writes and delivers news stories clearly and concisely. Produces newscasts and communicates effectively with team members. Assists in writing, copy editing, researching, and coordinating news programming. Acts as a field reporter as assigned. Conducts interviews with news personnel and others. Responds to breaking news and urgent situations. Participates in promotional activities including public appearances. Performs special projects and other duties as assigned. Edits video clips as needed. Writes content for websites and other digital platforms. Interacts with viewers on social media. Requirements & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field, or equivalent experience. Fluency in English. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Minimum five years’ experience in news reporting or anchoring. Strong on-air presence and news judgment. Ability to guide and motivate others. Proficiency with office equipment and digital tools. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks. Valid driver’s license with a good record. Flexibility to work any shift. Benefits: Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000. Includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(K), and more.
