Job Description
The Nonprofit Development Intern is responsible for the support of the Business Development team as it expands its role in providing business development services to the organization. This ongoing support includes market research, administrative tasks, donor relationship management and community outreach.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with Marketing Research Liaison to develop marketing forecasting for programming and youth development initiatives.
- Documents and updates new community partnership opportunities within the Greater Chicago area.
- Assists with the execution with error-free proposals and coordinates distribution of finalized documents to the donor base.
- Contributes to policy and procedure adherence.
- Communicates with current board members on organizational status updates.
- Complete additional business-related administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Current college student or recent graduate.
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, along with polished interpersonal abilities
- A self-starter with demonstrated success in fast-paced work environment
- Previous internship experience in marketing or communications is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills
- Enthusiasm for the mission of National Youth Adoption Foundation and the youth that we serve
Start Date: On or before January 25th, 2024
Hours : 10 - 12 hours/week. Weekly progress checks will be completed in hybrid format
Compensation: This is a paid internship based on candidate qualification
