Job Description
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating overhead cranes and have a flexible schedule. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating cranes to lift, move, and position heavy sheet metal and coil products inside plant and into trucks and flatbed trailers
Safely operate overhead cranes and other heavy machinery to lift, move, and position materials and equipment in accordance with project requirements

Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify any maintenance or repair needs
•
Rig loads and attach lifting devices to crane hooks, ensuring proper balance and load capacity
•
Operate cranes to lift and lower loads, following instructions from spotters or other team members
•
Determine load weights, calculate load capacities, and ensure safe lifting operations
•
Collaborate with team members and other operators to ensure efficient workflow and safe working conditions on the job site
•
Report any equipment malfunctions, damage, or incidents to the supervisor or maintenance personnel immediately
•
Perform other duties, as assigned by supervisor
