Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in the consumer products industry, is seeking a Packaging Engineer I to join their team. As a Packaging Engineer I, you will be part of the Packaging Engineering Department supporting the Consumer Products Division Operations.

Job Title: Packaging Engineer I

Location: El Segundo, CA

Pay Range: $30

What's the Job?

• Support packaging development, testing, and sustainability initiatives within the consumer products division.
• Prepare and set up test requests for new materials and components, evaluate test reports, and coordinate data requests.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, perform data cleanup, and manage project files and system inputs.
• Assist in sustainability efforts, including recyclability checks and supporting L4TF initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to follow up on action items and support project implementation from concept to launch.

What's Needed?

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Packaging, Mechanical, Materials Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Entry-level technical support experience or relevant academic project work (0-1 year).
• Proficiency in business-level English communication skills.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and support multiple projects simultaneously.
