Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated Part-Time Bookkeeper to support a small business. This is a flexible, remote-friendly position, offering 4-12 hours per month. Hours may vary depending on the time of year, with an option for remote work after an initial training period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the General Ledger (GL), ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Perform custom financial reporting as needed.
- Ensure timely and responsive updates, managing time effectively across various tasks.
- Regularly attend in-person meetings 2-4 times per month to discuss updates and progress.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online (certification preferred but not required).
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Ability to adapt to different situations quickly and efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with long-term care facilities such as nursing homes, rest homes, or assisted living centers is a plus.
- Familiarity with government grants and funding processes related to these facilities is highly valued.
