Job Description:
Are you ready to take your CAD expertise to the next level? We are looking for a skilled professional to manage our ECAD library parts, creating and maintaining schematic symbols, solder pad footprints, and 3D models from component vendor data sheets. With your CAD experience and/or relevant Associate engineering degree, your knowledge of electrical components and industry standards like IPC and ASME/ANSI will ensure our designs meet the highest quality standards. Proficiency in Mentor Xpedition®, Siemens NX, and Siemens Teamcenter is a plus. Join our dynamic team and contribute to cutting-edge engineering solutions.
Essential Functions:
Create and maintain schematic symbols for Electrical Computer Aided Design (ECAD) library from component vendor data sheets.
Create and maintain solder pad footprints for ECAD library from component vendor data sheets and IPC standards.
Create and maintain 3D Models of ECAD library parts for use by Mechanical Engineering.
Ensure that all requirements for manufacturing and assembly are met.
Required Qualifications:

Experience reading vendor datasheets and electrical schematics.
Experience creating schematic symbols and PCB footprints (Cells) of electrical components
Experience in managing ECAD libraries
Experience with ECAD software applications and related PC equipment. Specific experience with Mentor Xpedition®, Siemens NX, and Siemens Teamcenter software is desirable.
General knowledge of industry standards such as IPC for design and ASME/ANSI for documentation is desired.
