Paws Around Motown is looking for a dog walker/pet sitter to add to our ever-growing 17 employee team who is interested in making working with pets a career.

Here is what we ask you to do:

Between the hours of 8 am and 11 pm you will be asked to focus all of your attention and love on the pets we care for. You will also be responsible for feeding, watering, medicating, walking dogs, scooping litter boxes, cleaning and sanitizing pet food and water dishes, cleaning up after pets including waste, playing with pets, etc. We require communication between managerial staff and pet owners via text, email, client management software, and company chat app.

:-) Did I mention this job requires you to play with puppies and kittens too? For many of our staff, they say it is the best job ever! (see below for more on that)

Some basic job requirements:

• US citizens or legally authorized to work in the US for at least the next 12 months
• Over 21 years of age
• Able to pass a background check
• Local full-time resident of Oakland County, MI
• Pet First Aid and CPR Certified
• Able to receive regular paychecks
• Able to commit to this position for 12 months from date of hire
• A willingness to complete mobile services all over Oakland County on the weekends

How Much Can I Make?

Our Pet Care Technicians start at $11 to $13 per hour plus mileage reimbursement while filling their dog, cat, puppy and kitten-cuddling needs each week! Our staff say that it is the "best job ever". We increase pay after 39 days and continue to increase for each certification you complete!
